Yustaga Lodge is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of each of its members and those who visit our site. It is our policy to collect information from website users only through voluntary means and only when it is in the interest of the user to supply it. We only use the information for the purpose of which it was supplied.
Information collected through our main website and all of our sub domains is only used within our lodge and is not provided to any third parties.
This site collects anonymous data that is not indicative of and cannot be traced to an individual without the cooperation of their Internet Service Provider. This data includes information about the user’s remote IP address, referral data (which page “linked” to the present request), and the browser software’s user-agent string. This information is accepted passively from the HTTP headers that are sent from the user when requesting any file from the server.
Personally identifiable data is collected only by means of form interfaces on the site, into which the user must voluntarily enter the information requested. This information is requested only when it is necessary to accomplish the purpose indicated by the form being filled out.
We do not attempt to covertly or “quietly” collect personal information, nor do we use cookies or other tracking technology used for the purpose of collecting information that a user may opt to enter in various interfaces on the site.
Information entered into the main site and all of the sub domains is collected directly by the lodge web design team.
The anonymous information collected is used only to monitor the usage of this Web site and its sub domains and the interests of those who use it. Data such as the volume of traffic to the server, the number of visitors a certain section of the site receives each month, or the most popular search terms are analyzed to derive general statistics about what users are looking at and how we can improve the site for the users in the future.
Personally identifiable information provided using the forms on our website and its sub domains via the interfaces is used only for the express purpose for which it was submitted. For example, if a user enters their contact information in the “Contact the Webmaster” form, the user will only be contacted if there are follow-up questions regarding their Question or Comment.
Yustaga Lodge will only share the information collected on the website and its sub domains with the required members of the Lodge Executive Committee or “LEC” when it is appropriate and relates to the original purpose of which the user supplied the information.
In most cases, Personal information is not maintained. Once it has been used for its intended purpose, it is deleted. Since we do not maintain this information but for a short time there is not a mechanism provided for users to alter or delete information that has been submitted. Information that is collected for users of the “Osprey’s Nest,” which is Yustaga Lodges Online Event Registration and Payment System as well as the Online Trading Post can be modified only by the web design team when appropriate.
Yustaga Lodge does not collect credit card or any other payment information from the users of the Osprey’s Nest. This sensitive information is collected by a third party provider (PayPal) through a safe and secure encrypted connection. This information is not sent to Yustaga Lodge after the order is complete. For the privacy and protection of the youth members of Yustaga Lodge (those under 18 years of age) we require and collect media release forms from the parents or guardians. The information collected on these forms tells us when and how we can use the youth members name and other personal information. If we do not have permission to use information like the name or photo of a lodge officer we will replace that information with either the word “**Blocked**” for name or an image stating “Unavailable” for the youth members photo. If permission is obtained from a parent or guardian to use the youth members name only his first name will be posted on the website. The media release forms are distributed, collected, and maintained by the web design team and can be altered or revoked by the parent or guardian at anytime by contact the webmaster using the “Contact the Webmaster” form or by emailing him directly using the webmaster@yustaga385.com email address.
Yustaga Lodge maintains lodge rosters for all of its members on the main website. These rosters can only be accessed by members of the Lodge Executive Committee or “LEC” using a required username and password, which are changed regularly.
We hold the right to modify this privacy policy at any time and will post those changes here. If in the future the changes to this privacy policy conflict with those of the past we will notify those users who are affected.
