2010 Fall Pow Wow

Ready for something different? Come join us for a real Native American weekend at the Yustaga Fall Pow Wow!

There will be plenty of new and exciting things such as an Indian Village, Flint Napping, Native American Foods, Beading, Silversmithing, and much, much more! We will have activities such as tomahawk and knife throwing, dancing, and drumming! You can even be part of helping to make a miniature dugout canoe, made the old fashion way, that will be on permanent display at camp. If you have regalia, please plan on wearing it on Saturday to help “get in the spirit” of the weekend!

In addition to all the F-U-N that we will be having, don’t forget that the Fall Pow Wow is the time for Lodge Elections, voting for Youth and Adult Arrowman of the Year honors, and nominations and selection for the Founder’s Award.

We will also have the Vigil Call-out at our Saturday Night Campfire which will include an awesome program, drumming, and dancing!

Bring money and patches for patch trading and the patch auction.

See you at the Pow Wow!!!

Summer Camp OA Nights Review

OA Nights were a blast!! There was a slip and slide, hatchet throwing and free ice cream. All in all it was fun and exciting experience for all scouts present I would also like to thank all OA members who helped out in the process and who helped run the booth.

YIS,

Barry Jordan
